Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to put myself forward for the role of Junior Designer.

I have many skills pertinent to this role gained from studying and working at the University for the Creative Arts as well as experience gained working for design and publishing company HDR Visual Communication Ltd. The skills that I have and believe to be highly relevant to this job and your company include: confident use of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat) and Microsoft Office on Mac/PC; understanding of the printing process; CMS packages (e.g wordpress) for website design; concept to creation; meeting with clients (developing and working to briefs); administrative and clerical duties. With past experience I am able to communicate with people of many different professional backgrounds and ages.

My main interests of graphic design includes editorial, typography, layout/composition, print, and contemporary arts. I would like to move my career forward in the creative industry and am very interested in developing a career with a successful and innovative company. I believe in achieving what is best for all parties - the client, company and myself, with high standards and passion in the work I do.
