About me

My latest role was as the Creative Director for the Muse Group, a hub of music software and learning developmental tools, where I was responsible for assessing all the company brands and, where necessary, rebranding. I led the strategy for all performance marketing, as well as managing the creative production pipeline, ensuring delivery to the highest standards, within budget and on time.
Before that I was the Creative Director for the BBC Studios OTT service BBC Select which launched in the US and Canada (a global first for the BBC!) on Amazon Prime and Apple TV+. This entailed the conceptualisation and realisation of the brand ready for its launch and then overseeing the creation of all marketing and platform assets from day one.
The design of the brand also recently won a graphite pencil at the D&AD awards and a silver at the Clio awards.
Before that I set up and led the BBC Asia creative in-house team, based in Singapore, for which I won the award for Best Leadership.
I led the creative for all briefs that came to the team, I approved all assets that were created, I worked with external partners and I managed the relationships between the relevant in-house teams; eg, marketing, creative, programming, operations, digital and comms across all brands and channels.
Over a 20 years career I have gained a deep understanding of the whole production process, have developed a vast network of colleagues and contacts and am an expert in all areas of creative strategy, production and design across branded content.
I love what I do, from mentoring new talent to working with global colleagues of all levels and backgrounds; I can be very hands on but am equally comfortable stepping back to let others take the lead when more appropriate.
I have filmed with a robot in Hong Kong, David Hasselhoff in London (get in touch if you want to know who was more difficult to work with), created a new streaming site for China (featuring clips that have had over a billion views), launched channels in India and Pakistan, filmed for charities & for EMI records and done the odd vacuum demo (of course!) over the years.
