About me
I am a 3D and Visual Effects artist with over 10 years of experience. I graduated from Central Saint Martins in 1993 with BA (Hons), where I specialised in film and animation. As a freelancer I have worked on numerous broadcast and new media projects. These projects have varied in many diverse styles from cartoon, photorealistic, to theatrical cinematic content. Recent productions include Sir David Attenborough's narrated "Darwin and the Tree of Life" and "Cleopatra: Portrait of a killer".
I have an expert knowledge of Maya, Mental Ray, Adobe CS package amongst many others. Whilst I normally work as a generalist my strengths are in 3D modelling, texturing shading and lighting. Although I feel I can produce quality results in other areas such as dynamics/effects and animation. Coming from a background in traditional media I have a strong creative and design ability.
