About me

Dear Sir/Madam,

May l introduce myself, my name is David Kerrigan and l am a
creative artworker with advanced skills in Photoshop retouching. I have
significant experience in the advertising and design industry,
predominantly working on through the line accounts.
The diversity of my work has included many forms of advertising and
design, such as brochures, corporate reports, direct mail, logo
conception and development, stationery, promotional material, packaging
and display, POS, mainstream press (magazine and newsprint) and
magazine layout, design and production. It also includes outdoor
advertising in the form of posters, banners, taxi and bus livery,
transport carriage cards, adshels and large format 48/96 sheets. In
addition to this, I have also been involved in various design, layout
and branding conceptions.

My knowledge of pre-press artwork, design production and delivery is
extensive, including experience of press-passing print jobs on location
in the UK, Holland and Switzerland. One of my strongest assets is that
I possess an acute eye for detail, colour and perspective, paying
particular attention to typography and my layout skills are intuitive;
to offer an example of this, l once detected a 3% yellow deficiency
during a press-pass in Switzerland.

I am competent when multi-tasking and l have very good
organisational, project and time management ability, along with
excellent people and client liaising skills. I am a very strong
all-rounder, adaptable, a team player but also self-motivated when
required to work independently.

My career has seen me work in locations such as London, Edinburgh,
Newcastle and Spain. I am currently living in Edinburgh but my partner
and I have decided we would like to return to the South of England.
therefore relocation is certainly no problem to my application.

I feel my skills and depth of experience would be an asset in this
