Dear Sir or Madam,

I was very interested to read your advertisement for a freelance magazine designer working on your print magazines, offline marketing and events. I've recently been designing and producing Bizarre Magazine for Dennis Publishing from my home office for the last 3 years... and I took on a wide variety of other work when time permitted both corporate (Coca-Cola in house magazine) and consumer (Top of the Pops Magazine for Immediate Media).

As you will see from my CV I spend many years at EMAP (now Bauer Media) where I was designing everything from The Official Nintendo Magazine to the industry favourite Internet Magazine.

I think my skills and experience are an excellent match with what you are seeking. I've never missed a deadline and I pride myself on being able to juggle many different projects... especially having produced a consumer news stand title single handedly from home. Please don't be put off my the title Bizarre Magazine... I'm now more than ready for a change of style!
