About me
I started as a lowly writer at Y&R, back when the world was filmed in black and white. Throughout my dazzling 15-Watt career, I rapidly scaled the ranks from a mere lowly writer to a senior lowly writer, until reaching the dizzying heights of a lowly creative director, at Nitro London.
I have operated as a freelance creative consultant for over five years, set up my own radio writing company and was commissioned to write the literature for a Daniel Libeskind architectural project, currently under construction in Warsaw.
Clients have been as diverse as the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister, Ann Summers and Nike.
I don't discriminate between traditional or digital/integrated media. I now spend an equal amount of time working on both.
I can work alone, or as part of a team.
At Euro RSCG I was responsible for (CPD) Creative Department training, in compliance with IPA Accreditation.
I represented the agency as creative mentor for the D&AD Clinic Program, providing colleges and students with assignments, book crits and student assessments.
I have also supervised a Creative Circle and several D&AD workshops, aimed at ongoing creative development and those interested in entering the profession.
I have attended two Creative Circle Role Reversal Seminars at Trinity College Oxford as an ECD, mentoring clients who have assumed the role of advertising creatives
My recent roles as Creative Director at Ogilvy Action, Nitro and Head of Copy at Iris, involved the ongoing development and mentorship of my teams.
I like to lead by example. I love writing and creating work, as well as helping direct and finesse it.
