Responding to your recent advertisement on the indeed website, I would like to apply for the above position, recently employed as Deputy Chief Photographer/Internet Video Journalist with the Hereford Times and am looking to broaden my horizons into new employment,

In 2006, I was trained and experienced in backpack video journalism with training from Gannett Co. and NBC video journalists Harvey Mars and Lane Michaelsen and 5 years on the job experience filming, editing my own and others footage to broadcast standard, building the company graphics package for titling and subtitles and keeping up to date on social networking sites with up to the minute news, pictures and video. Presently, am available for an immediate start.

My experience, dedication and attention to detail derive from a solid newspaper journalism background and I have in depth experience of internal communications, media relations and public relations.
