About me

I am an Artworker and Graphic and Web Designer currently working freelance for the leisure, culture and youth industries and I am looking to expand on my advertising experience. I have 10 years experience of working in various roles in the creative industries and 5 years of experience working as a freelancer for a broad range of clients. In this time, I've become familiar with many different aspects of design from client liaison, typesetting, artworking and retouching to print and web production.Over the past few years Iâ€(TM)ve designed web, advertising and POS for city councils, funding bodies, curators, promoters, record stores and labels, snowboard companies, film events, festivals, artists, filmmakers and galleries. Iâ€(TM)ve also designed DVD interfaces, exhibited my artwork and curated exhibitions. My clients have included the Film Council, Channel 4, The Arts Council, Shropshire Council, Birmingham University, The Ikon gallery, New Art Gallery Walsall and the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra amongst others and my work has been seen in the Creative Review, Design Week and Dazed and Confused magazines. As well as developing a strong base of public sector clients in the Midlands, I have also attracted clients form California, Montreal, Amsterdam and London.Iâ€(TM)m hugely passionate about all areas of visual communication and would love to bring my enthusiasm to any role that you can offer me.I look forward to hearing from you.
