About me

After graduating from the University of Lincoln with a degree in Marketing and Tourism I trained in Adobe Photoshop CS3, InDesign CS3, Illustrator CS3 and Acrobat Pro. Since then I have applied my skills within the publications industry creating designs for various international tourism publications and have gained experience as an in-house graphic designer for one of the countries largest online supplement suppliers. I am highly organised, have learnt to work well in pressurised environments and always strive to meet deadlines and targets. I have worked across a wide range of media, both print and online. During my working life I have become proficient in Adobe InDesign CS5.5, Photoshop CS5, Illustrator CS5, Acrobat X Pro and Adobe Bridge CS5.1 as well as Microsoft Office and Works.

Skills

Computer Skills, I am computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office and Works as I have been using these packages frequently, throughout my work experience and university life. I am a fully trained and experienced user of InDesign and Photoshop software. I use Adobe Acrobat Pro and Adobe Illustrator on a daily basis and currently work with CS5.5; so I am proficient with the latest versions., Other Skills, Throughout my education and work experience I have gained excellent communication skills and valuable experience working in teams. I feel I work well alone as I am a good self-motivator and I am passionate about my work. I pride myself on being punctual and well presented and would bring skills and new ideas to a new place of employment.
