About me

I Graduated from University College Falmouth in 2006 with a BA (Hons) degree in Graphic Design. After graduating I went on my travels through South America and Central America before returning and working as a Graphic/Web Designer for the past four years.

I have very recently been made redundant from my latest job as a Graphic/Web Designer and I am looking for a new challenge within a creative environment. I particularly enjoy working within a independent studio allowing me to work on a range of projects from different clients at one time.

For the past two years I have been working for the design agency Mousetrap Creative. I had a wide range of responsibilities that include all aspects of design for print (branding, literature, advertising to exhibitions) as well as dealing with printers gaining quotes and time scales. I was the only designer within the studio that dealt with Web Design and Development. I also deal with any hardware and software problems throughout the studio from organising server overflow to software and OS upgrades. Every project I am involved with I will oversee all aspects of the design process from initial designs and correspondence with the client right through to organising printing or development, domains and hosting.

I have great experience of working as a team in a design studio and I understand the requirements from each brief. I am comfortable working on several projects at one time as well a prioritising my workflow. I am happy dealing with clients either face to face, via email or telephone.

I have excellent working knowledge of all industry standard software, Adobe Creative Suite, Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat Professional, Dreamweaver (html, css, javascript) as well as Quark Xpress and Microsoft Office. My experinece will allow me to hit the ground running regarding any projects you may have ongoing.
