About me

I have 25 years experience in all areas of Mac-based design for print, predominantly using InDesign (prior to this, Quark), Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat as well as Microsoft Office programmes (Word, Powerpoint, Excel etc).I have worked extensively on corporate identity, branding, all forms of corporate literature, magazines, exhibitions, corporate gifts, packaging, PoS, annual reports and directories during my career. As a confident speaker, I am equally happy whether presenting to clients or dealing with printers and press-passes. I have good literacy skills and am capable of accurately checking and proof-reading my own work as well as that of others. I'm equally happy whether working alone or as part of a team and have my own purpose-built studio which allows me to work remotely if necessary.For the last 10 years I have been employed by a Cardiff-based agency in the role of Director of Print where I have worked for many truly global clients. During the last 2 or 3 years I have increasingly been involved with the direction/production, copywriting and story boarding of 2D, 2.5D and 3D animated videos - including stereoscopic movies.I will be more than happy to either present a selection of work samples or forward digital photographs of my work upon request.
