Dear Sir/Madam,
I write to apply for the position of a Junior Digital Designer. I am an experienced web developer with a degree in Multimedia Technology from the University of Hertfordshire who is currently seeking the opportunity to develop my skills and utilise my academic knowledge so that I can make a positive contribution to your company.
I am an adaptable, enthusiastic and a self-motivated individual with commercial experience in web development. In addition, I have up to 2 years of commercial exposure working with HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I am a fast learner and also love learning new technologies.
I currently work for a broadcast specialist company where I am responsible for maintaining and updating the company's website, designing/creating newsletters, creating national and international surveys for well known clients such as Marks & Spencers and Vodafone. I am also the administrator for over 15,000 active panelists who take part in answering surveys which I produce using Questback.
My interest in the advertised position of a web developer stems from my online creativity and my desire to design websites. I feel that my creativity, experience and tenacity would be well suited for this job.
