About me

For the last 4 years I have been studying at university. For my first year I studied Computer Aided Product Design at Bournemouth University, while there I briefly used programs such as Alias and Idea's. Once that year was finished I moved to the University Of Hertfordshire to study Digital Modelling which is a product/industrial design based course in which I learnt how to use Solidworks. In addition to this our projects were run alongside tuition in which I learnt how to use CAD software. The course enabled me to get a brief glimpse of how the industry works. Along with the CAD training i also learnt about manufacturing methods and materials, and which materials and manufacturing methods were suited to each product.

While at University I used Adobe Photoshop to help me present my work to a professional standard, so in addition to my knowledge of CAD software I have knowledge of Adobe products.

I enjoy designing and 3D Modelling as it enable me to express what I think a product could or should look like and enables me to directly influence people's lives, which I believe is a large responsibility. This pushes me to work to the best of my ability. Throughout School and University I have always been good at timekeeping and producing work to specific deadlines and this is one of my greatest assets as I organise work and get it done to the highest standard, as otherwise I will restart it until it is at a standard I am proud off, i am also a quick learner.
