About me

I am a senior artworker and have recently been working on retail packaging for clients such as Marks & Spencer and Duchy. The factors for success with this work are attention to detail, an understanding of corporate style guidelines, particularly relating to back of pack copy and the increasing amount of information that has to be displayed on food packaging. Not to mention spotting inconsistencies and errors in the supplied copy that we are supposed to trust as gospel! In recent years, I have also been involved in working on large scale, quick turnaround point of sale projects for Marks & Spencer. Alongside of this, work is also undertaken for Transport for London in maintaining their map database and for London Underground in producing internal mapping as an aid for their management structure.

I find my current employment somewhat limiting in that my skills and experience are not being put to their full use...

The main software package I use is Illustrator CS2. I have also used QuarkXPress and Photoshop.
