By avoiding conventional labels, Darunee Terdtoontaveedej takes advantage of the freedom from any specific identities to discover hidden potentials in the world around her. Her body of work is a collection of cross-disciplinary exploration, focusing on issues such as the home and sense of belonging, the fluid selves and the alternative stories. She creates collages literally and metaphorically, physically and digitally. Often blending elements of fact and fiction, she aims to create a new narrative that questions the current reality.
