About me

I am writing to you to express my interest in the Assistant Production Controller position as listed on The Creative Pool Website.

I have recently completed a Master's degree in Producing for Television and Film at Bournemouth University and I have previously gained a significant level of experience from working in the media industries in a production/assistant role. Having been a gamer all my life, I have acquired an extensive knowledge of which concepts have made a successful impact on various generations throughout the evolution of gaming it having progressed from the arcade to the home computer through to consoles and now on to smart phones, where the retro games of the arcade have managed to travel full circle and have a contemporary resurgence of interest. I have always been a convincing salesperson especially of technology and always in areas that I coincide with personal interests and passions of mine, I feel it's this quality that carries the sale and for this reason alone I know I have the necessary skills, ambition and enthusiasm to excel at this role.

I am versatile, diligent and highly self-motivated, with an aptness for organisational tasks and a keen eye for detail as well as the necessary confidence, interpersonal skills and communicative abilities to build positive and lasting relationships with clients, colleagues and superiors. I have previously proven the ability to work effectively under pressure and on my own initiative, handling multiple projects simultaneously whilst maintaining a positive attitude and approaching my work with a sense of humour, creativity and enthusiasm.
