About me
I have been in and around the Design for Print industry for over twenty-five years. I have a thorough Print background, possess strong technical skills on both Mac and PC based software and have a Creative Head to boot!
I started this journey way back in 1990 when I became a Studio Junior in a small family run Designers and Printers. Over the next 25 years Ive been a Studio Manager overseeing several "arty's", expanded my wings working in New Zealand and run a busy production studio in printing manufacturing.
AlwaysInspired was founded in 2007 and is running successfully as a freelance Design for Print and Web company. I hope to be able to offer a comprehensive knowledge of the Print and Interactive Industries so you can be assured that your project, however large or small, is in experienced hands.
My knowledge covers Flat Sheet, Litho, Overprint, Flexographic and Digital print areas, and have progressed from a Junior role (many many moons ago!) right through to Studio Management overseeing 4 Designers and Mac Operators, and now happily Freelance for over 10 years.
I am fully conversant with pre-press programs: Quark V10, (Adobe CS6 - Ph, Id, Ai - Acrobat Prof with Pitstop), Microsoft Office, Dreamweaver and Flash (int, levels), and web-based web development via Wordpress.
