About me
Studying Product Design at University has allowed
me to develop the ability to work methodically,
paying great attention to detail alongside being
organized and hard working. I enjoy working
towards bringing both products and people
together. I see myself as someone who takes
influence and inspiration from daily observations,
be it on the subject of human behavior, emotions,
or even from existing designs; elegantly, playfully
manifesting something both quirky and commercial
through exhaustive iterative explorations. I am a
diligent and confident young man who thrives off
problems and possibilities. I aim to progress as a
designer and learn new techniques in different
aspects of design and hopefully uncover new ways
of thinking.
Furthermore, studying these subjects has allowed
me to become extremely flexible, as I have learnt
that to achieve to the best level one needs to put in
the hours and I am always willing to take on tasks
and work into hours to complete whatever needs to
be achieved. Therefore, no matter what I do and
whatever needs to be done I will always work to
whatever hours are required to fulfill all objectives as
a person and as a team.
Work Experience with various famous designers
such as Paul Cocksedge, Mathias Hahn, Moritz
Waldemeyer, redloopdesign and various other
projects highlighted in my CV and portfolio shows
my creative flair alongside my commitment and
determination to produce the best work, always
aiming to be innovative and with a keen eye for
detail at the same time.
I also had the opportunity to briefly work for
JBL/Harmon Kardon to develop a concept of
adjacent innovation for audio in the UK. My design
response and outcome envisaged an innovative
set of headphones toying on observations and
studies into the human behavior and youth culture
of attention seeking and disruptions caused by
people playing music out aloud on public transport.
I meaningfully embedded these stories into a
manifestation of headphones with digital panels
illustrating both the song/track being played
alongside live visual mapping of the track;
subsequently winning the JBL prize for innovation
and being highly commended in the process.
I am experienced and continuously training in many
IT and CAD software including the Adobe Suite,
Solid Works, Illustrator, Photoshop and others also
indicated in the CV. I am a people's person;
friendly, easily approachable and a great team
player; participating thoroughly within group
discussions and practical explorations.
My academic background and previous work
experience has equipped me well and I look
forward to every challenge alongside being
confident that I have the correct balance between
academic, extra-curricular interests and as a
person to contribute fully for the design position in
which I would thoroughly enjoy developing as a
person and professionally whist gaining invaluable
experience."
