About me

I am an experienced and successful freelance photographer, having completed a range of commissions from features (Junior Magazine), portraiture (I.T.V.€s comedy department), festivals (Frieze Art Fair) and documentary (Cuba) I understand the crux of an image and its wider application. During my tenure I have developed skills beyond image capture which would allow me to pursue my responsibilities within the role both quickly and in keeping with the highest standards. I am entirely up- to- date in my knowledge of digital asset management programmes on both PC and Mac platforms with a focus on Adobe CS4, Bridge and Lightroom. As I have utilized both professional digital and medium format, I can process images efficiently and precisely from any file source to include negative scanning and camera RAW. I am excited by the opportunity to engage my previous experience, should the opportunity arise, and am confident of the positive and professional contribution I could provide in assisting with future photo shoots and the nuances arising from a global market which effect usage within domains and licenses of intellectual property. This experience is reflected in receiving and honorable mention in the 2009 IPA Lucie awards.

I view myself as an open and generous person and believe this has greatly supported my successes. An inclusive approach has consistently been my ethos and is displayed through the continuation of my existing working relationships over several years. I have worked with people from a variety of backgrounds from artists in the Saatchi collection (Dallas Seitz) to frontline photojournalism (Polly Braden). This has served to expand my sphere of influences, and led to further productive collaborations. I am consistently accessible, to both clients and colleagues, within the role and strive to render the highest standard of experimentation, results and client satisfaction.

My experience extends to an understanding of representing an agency. I consider myself to be a presentable and judicious person and have previously excelled in positions that incorporated my appreciation for clear channels of communication. My role as Customer Support Manager required the prioritization of an extremely high number of daily requests as I guided service users through a complex registration process in keeping with EU employment law by phone and email. Central to the successful daily operation of the company was an organization and focus that enabled me to deal with pressured deadlines with competency that reassured clients and developed excellent working relations between departments. My talents would be ideally suited to the challenges of the position. I would approach it with vitality and a desire to instigate a reliable, safe and productive environment.
