About me

I'm a creative, enthusiastic and energetic person who tries hard to keep working life happy and focused. I enjoy learning new things and discovering different working methods. In the past I have found my work proves most successful when I am set stretching goals giving me the opportunity to research, learn and find solutions to make something work.

I have always been an independent learner, and have found that I have my own natural process of learning and problem solving. It is important to me that I continue to learn, and is something I take very seriously.

I have visited studios across the United Kingdom and in America and have worked in such places as the Neighbourhood Studios and Centre Screen Productions in Manchester. These experiences have made me aware of the nature of the industry, client needs and what it means to be part of a creative team. Through working at Centre Screen I now have a broader taste for typography, colour and composition.

Having the chance to share ideas and learn from others,, helps drive my determination and strive for higher standards. When working to a deadline I keep notes on my own progress to ensure a project deadlines are met.

I was successful in securing employment at Centre Screen immediately after graduating from university and now that this project is over, I am seeking opportunities to learn and to develop my career in design and visual arts.
