About me

I am currently working as a designer at Smiths-gore. I am a hard working and highly motivated individual. With experience in working to tight deadlines I know how to manage time efficiently and have a good working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, as well as the Microsoft suite.

I have learnt valuable skills from my current position such as how to manage multiple projects at once, art working a file ready for print and dealing with clients. I have proven that I deal with pressure well, as a month into my internship at Artisan Creative, I was given the task of creating a 20 page newsletter for Indesit, in Quark. Software that I had not used before. Although this was a challenge I dealt well with it, and now feel confident with the software.

I graduated from Lincoln University with a 2:1 BA Honours in Creative Advertising; here I learnt good communication skills and the importance of portraying the brand values of the client. I am able to work across both written and visual mediums, as this was a large part of my university degree. Being organised was also highly important as I often worked on several projects simultaneously, ensuring all work was completed on time and to the best of my abilities.

With a determined attitude I am not afraid to use my initiative and make decisions when called for. I am professional at all times whether it be via email or in person, I understand the importance of representing the company I work for. With a courteous and confident manner I always strive to give my best.

Please find my CV/portfolio attached, with examples of some projects I have worked on.

Yours sincerely

Danielle Seal
