About me

I have attached a copy of my updated CV.My career has thus far been in the retail and residential sector, predominately working on mid to high-end and luxury projects. I started in interiors, styling for Designers Guild. Working under the guidance of Trisha Guild, then working for a smaller boutique interior designer, specialising in finishes.Whilst working for Designers Guild, my focus as a junior stylist, was very much on the finished product and taking all elements of an interior and presenting them in a way that would be aesthetically pleasing, my work was displayed visually with a series of samples and mood boards often presented directly to Trisha and her team. I moved on from Designers Guild to pursue an independent route. My domain was interior concepts. I worked in collaboration with a highly successful North London estate agent, and a building contractor. We managed to turn tired flats into desirable rentals. My role was to provide plans, elevations and visuals throughout stages of the project for the client and contractor, often presenting to both client and contractors. I then joined a highly successful Interior Design business in a wealthy and historical part of the country, due to relocating out of London with my partner. At Elizabeth Stanhope Interiors I thoroughly enjoy my position. I work on a one to one basis with clients to establish a brief. This involves visiting the clients on site, choosing soft furnishings from fabrics and wallpapers to paint colours and finishes to individual and elegant pieces of furniture. I then produce a series of hand drawn and rendered visuals, which I can then adapt using Photoshop to communicate concepts and ideas to the client. I then oversee the project, working within agreed time scales, through to installation.Using my experience gained at Designers Guild, I am then able to finish and style the project, an equally important part of the design process, to create a beautiful environment that hopefully exceeds the clientâ€(TM)s expectation.I currently work for Elizabeth Stanhope Interiors and utterly enjoy my role there, however, due to personal reasons I would now like to move back to London.To conclude, I offer five years of styling and interior design experience and I bring enthusiasm and energy to every situation.
