About me

After studying textile design for 3 years and achieving first class honors in my degree , I now want to use my technical knowledge combined with my creative skills to design clothing and cloth that is commercial as well as original. My work has been purchased by us retailer Antropologie , to be exhibited in the Rockefeller Center in New York and i also exhibited work in the Business Design Center London in 2008. I have also worked in high end fashion for London Fashion week in 2010. Plus three years in retail where i have had various experience starting from the shop floor right up to assisting in visual merchandising , buying and management.

I would describe my creative talent as distinctive. I like to show traditional processes but show them in a new light by placing modern less obvious images onto my textiles work and now I want to combine my traditional skills with digital. Being educated in design has made me understand what makes each creative person stand out form the other and what makes a piece of design original. I am open- minded and willing to look at something from all sides. My creativity is very experimental bring shape and texture into my work. What favors my creativity is an atmosphere , which is vibrant and has a sense of momentum.
