About me
After graduating in Japanese Language and Culture in Rome, I have completed a PhD in Modern History while I was already enrolled in an internship programme at Sheldrake Press, where I stayed for six months. Here I covered several roles, from liaising with clients and partners abroad (France, Italy, Portugal and Brazil) to revising the company's marketing plan. During those months, I was able to both widen the brand awareness within and without the United Kingdom and to re-establish the company's presence online.
My contract ended in October, when I began to work as QA tester first and then as proofreader and translator at Pole To Win Europe. Here, I learned the importance of taking good care of details, I improved my communication and linguistic skills, I developed a more profound sense of being part of a larger team and I learned how to handle strict deadlines and big projects.
