About me

I am a graduate of Nottingham Trent University where I achieved a MA in Product Futures. I have worked for a year as a Product Developer with a civil engineering company. I developed a product with the company from a concept stage, right through to prototyping and testing. I manufactured the prototype as I am competent within a workshop environment and I prefer a hands on approach to my design work. I also had to use 3D computer packages to create visuals or animations of products within their environments to enable clients to understand how the product functions.

In the three years at the University of Glamorgan I have experienced many aspects of Product design and this has allowed me to become a versatile candidate for this vacancy. I have become competent in a variety of CAD design packages 3D and 2D, have gained valuable workshop to enable prototypes to be produced and also have good draughting and rendering skills. I have had work experience at a variety of companies dealing with working as part of a team, working under pressure to meet deadlines and have had some experience with graphic design.
