About me

I'm a passionate creative excited about teaching.

I'm a creative excited about being involved with software training, enthusing students and passing on my industry knowledge. I would like to teach in a place that I would not only be sharing creative tools but also the commercial realities of new software skills. I would love to contribute as an enthusiastic team member.

I have experience in teaching at two major New Zealand universities, having been responsible for teaching advanced software classes and design theory to a diverse cultural mix.

Having closed a young but successful graphic design studio called Pinkeye, I sought a larger culture and have spent the last two years working in a variety of design capacities, in order to extend my experience of the dynamic of a good creative environment and how best to facilitate designers.

It is time now to bring this knowledge back to teaching. I'm interested in how technology and applications are delivered to people so that they feel confident to use the hammer and nails of the design trade. I'm equally interested in the utilisation of these applications in the design process.

Most of all I'm friendly, positive and participate enthusiastically in a learning environment
