About me

My current position began when I enroled onto a AVCE in Infomation Communication Technology course after leaving school. The basis of this course was to develop skills in Microsoft Office based applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access & Frontpage) and develop general computer based skills. I ended the AVCE in ICT with grade Distinction.

During my time on the AVCE in ICT I covered a small amount of web design and I found that I enjoyed this area of computing and would like to further my expertise in this field. This led me enrol onto a HND Interactive Media course, a course that I felt would allow me to fulfill my desire to develop more skills in web and other areas of design.

The skills I developed on this course have allowed me to become confident in: Developing websites using CSS, Image editing / developing in Photoshop, Creating vector based artwork in Freehand / Illustrator & Creating basic Flash based animations.

I completed this course with grade Pass in May 2006. Since then I have been working part time at my current place of employment.

Although I have no previous experince of using my skills in a professional working environment I would like the opportunity to prove what an asset my skills could be and make a start to my career.
