About me

From working onboard cruise ships I've gained an invaluable skill in that I meet a lot of people and have the ability to converse and gain the desired expressions from the clients. I have fantastic customer relations experience not only from the cruise ships but also from previous employment, I have an excellent manner and pride myself on making passengers and people smile. I feel a crucial part of any workforce is the need for efficient workflow and the understanding of deadlines, A brilliant part of the studio portraits onboard was the chats I held with the clients before we started the shoot, I'd sit them down and get to know the real them and what they wanted from the session to personalize it. The effective use of advertising around the ship and the constant ‘selling' of the experience when an opportunity arose helped us to achieve target onboard, as the wages were commission based we understood the importance of consistency of our work to obtain the financial targets and to give the passenger an experience that they'd rave about to other passengers. Working for in a studio would not only improve my abilities as a portrait photographer through working in such an efficient working environment but also I could transfer my skills from the ships and also the self motivation gained from being a freelance sports photographer to become a fantastic and profitable photographer for your studio and company of course giving the clients the experience they expect from you.Experience and preference for next role I am looking for a photographer roll in a busy studio or work places. Over the last year done all kinds of photography and video so fill my skills are more than just a photographer. Since been back in the UK I've been working as a press photographer for some top news agencies in London.
