About me

Creative writing is the abiding passion of my life: a number of my short stories have been published, I have written a comedy series for a local radio station, a short screenplay of mine was a finalist in the 2019 Filmmatic Short Screenplay Award, and I have completed two novels.

In 2020, I was fortunate enough to receive a scholarship in order to complete my master's degree. In 2021, I received the Angela Carter Prize in Creating Writing, granted annually for the best overall performance on the University of Sheffield's Creative Writing MA.

For the past ten years I have worked as a freelance journalist, writing primarily about film history. I have written for highly regarded culture and literary websites such as Vague Visages, Fugitives & Futurists, Route 57, Expat Press, Sledgehammer Lit and Bear Creek Gazette.
