About me

I have a high level of ability using Photoshop, gained whilst at university, and have put my skills into practise whilst designing work for Tyco where I was involved in designing work for a health and safety booklet. I am also confident in using both Mac and PC. I have also had experience using Adobe Illustrator and InDesign. I also have illustration skills and would be keen to put them into practise. I would be interested in gaining experience in a new computer programs and building on the skills I already have as a designer. I have taken an A-level in photography and whilst at university have used the photographic studios to take photographs of my work produced at university.

As well as working for English Heritage I have also worked for Emap in their Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival offices, where I was involved in processing entries for the festival. This meant dealing with clients from around the world, including South America, Asia and the UK. This also meant insuring that deadlines were met and contacts for the companies kept up to date with their entries. I also went over to Cannes for the festival to organise the judging of the competition, this meant dealing with creative directors, copywriters, CEO's and designers from up and coming and the largest ad agencies at present.

I am competent in Word, Excel and PowerPoint and am used to working in a team environment. I like to take on new challenges and want to build on the skills I already possess.
