About me

I have recently obtained a degree with honours in Museum & Exhibition Design at The Lincoln School of Architecture, University of Lincoln. The main body of this course involved the constructional and design methods of public spaces and thus has given me an extensive knowledge in various aspects of the industry.

Prior to this, I completed a BTEC National Diploma in 3D Interior Design with an additional combined 'A' Level in Art & Design, which was obtained at Bishop Burton College.

The aforementioned courses have given me an acute visual awareness of space and allowed me to develop skills in freehand sketching and rendering techniques, aided and enhanced by computer packages such as QuarkXpress and Adobe Photoshop. I am also fully conversant with the AutoCAD design package, and, as stated on my attached C.V. I have had the privilege of teaching my accumulated skills to a new generation of potential designers at Bishop Burton College, working alongside former tutors.

I am currently a part time Visual Merchandiser at House of Fraser in Hull and I believe that this role has provided me with a valuable insight into the retail industry, allowing me to develop my skills in the area. I have also been given the opportunity to re-launch the Menswear Department and I am currently waiting for approval of my design.

Most recently, I have undertaken various projects at The Deep Millennium Project, such as designing Interpretation Panels and developing new concepts around the attraction
