I wish to apply for Mid Weight Project Manager

I have been volunteering within different event companies and related industries to build up my portfolio of experience. My two most recent projects are outlined below. 1. Princes' Trust Music Project | Nov-May Leeds| Project Manager

- Responsibilities: All operations from devising to actuating project

- Project: Two music concerts,

- Three fundraising events.

- Raising £1000 from a budget of £50.

2. Caledonian Rd Festival | Feb- June 2011 London | Production Team

Successful sponsorship proposals and grant applications

- Budget: £18,00

- Staff: 20

- Project outcome: Street event with 5,000 attendees and hundreds of stalls.

- A range of music, theatrical spoken work and community events.

I have had experience devising marketing strategies, fundraising; promoting, budgeting and delivering well executed events. I believe productivity and creativity are traits harnessed in pressure situations using lateral thinking and innovation to address old problems with new approaches.

I have excellent communication skills with the ability to successfully negotiate and mediate relations within team projects. I have a theoretical understanding founded in my management degree, coupled with the practical experience implementing this in a range of commercial and community projects.
