Current

I am currently working for the fastest growing pension fund in the world, gaining almost 750,000 individuals in just under 2 years. This enabled me to be very hands on as I was one of the first to join NOW: Pensions, having been placed in the Senior Web Consultant role.

During my time at NOW: Pensions I have developed the brand and increased traffic 2000%. We have also grown exponentially internally within the digital team which I manage, moving into social media marketing, remarketing and PPC, sports marketing, broadcast, B2B and events.

Previous

I have been lucky enough to work and spend a lot of time with some giants in their fields; people such as Graham Sherren, founder of Centaur Media, Antonio Garcia, (oversaw the mergers and acquisitions of Banco Santander in the UK), Lindsay Dove, ex managing director for Rio Tinto Shipping, John Greenfield, ex financial director for Inchcape, along with many more in the technology field. This taught me a lot about building rapport at c-level and gaining buy-in for projects as well as negotiating for business drive to be focused in key areas.

A little bit about me

I have always been taught to create true wealth by looking for attributes that can be turned into assets. I had a web domain, hosting and a brand name, this led to the creation Feelgd which was proof of concept for a global education network that enabled worldwide educational information access. The first stage was presented to educational boards, teachers and students and received reviews that were far above expectations.

It was then presented to seed capital firms as well as UK big business leading to multiple investment meetings and joint venture link ups. We received multiple offers for investment in the form of a consortium headed by Clive Kettridge, founder of jBase the company behind the GLOBUS and T24 banking applications from Temenos. Unfortunately and ironically the banking crisis put a spanner in the works, however the experience I gained throughout the whole process was priceless.

Spare time is yet more time for creating in my eyes and self education is something I partake in regularly. Louis Pasteur once said "Fortune favours the prepared mind" and I subscribe to this, that is why I attend webinars and seminars on a regular basis, and am also extremely keen to further my education through personal or company run qualifications. The experiences I have had have forged a mindset that will not falter under pressure
