About me
I have recently relocated to London from Auckland, New Zealand where I have spent the last five years working for an Exhibition and Events company as a Graphic Designer/Artworker. This involved meeting with a range of clients from small business operators to large corporates and discussing and evaluating their design and printing needs. From there I was responsible for all aspects of the design process from conception, coordinating photographers, creation of final artwork to proofing and colour management. Throughout this time I have also worked as a freelance designer on many varied projects. Through experience, I have mastered the alchemy of understanding client requirements and translating them into workable ideas and designs.
I have a strong understanding of the print process and the capacity to expand my knowledge into the digital realm. I possess all the skills required to function with speed and accuracy in a fast paced design studio and the ability to maintain a high standard of output under pressure. I have also participated in training junior staff and managing studio work flow. I have crafted the art of time management and the cognitive capacity to multi-task. Above all personal attributes is the ability to relate to people, often using humour and patience to develop strong and productive working relationships.
