Daniel's work

I am Dan House and have been studying Graphic Design at the City of Bath College. In the last 2 years I have come to understand more about the industry requirements and my place within it. I have been successful in producing designs that were appropriate for the briefs whilst developing my own unique style.

I have experience of working as a Graphic Designer in live briefs working with tight deadlines and communicating and presenting to clients. I have worked as a Customer Service Representative, becoming aware of the essential communication between workers and customers and responding to their needs. This knowledge translates well to the Graphic Design world as it focuses on communicating a message in effective ways.

I studied Games Development for a year and then moved on to studying Graphic Design at Bath College. During my time at Bath College I have experimented in using a range of materials both traditional and digital as well as improving on previously known techniques and quickly picking up new skills along the way such as printmaking, typographic prints and the programme Corel Painter. I have been using the Adobe Creative Suite since I was 15 understanding its capabilities and being proficient in all of its application software.

I am an inspired, flexible and self-motivated worker who can work well with all groups of people. I am enthusiastic about my work. I engage fully with the process of visually communicating messages in creative ways and with attention to detail. I would be grateful to work within a team of creative people like yours.
