About me

I am a professional web editor and music journalist who has several years of experience managing large-scale, multi-media websites. In addition I have supervised content creation across a number of national newspapers and other international broadcasters' webpages. Within my career I have also appeared on a number of conference panels and radio talk shows to discuss music festivals.

I am a diligent editor, who is able to lead both small and large teams, but am equally proficient and self-motivated when working alone. I have experience in setting and executing web strategy, examining site statistics using Google Analytics, Facebook and YouTube, and have worked with designers and development teams to create bespoke site features and to discuss the build, look and feel of websites.

As a journalist I have written for the Daily Telegraph, the Metro, the Daily Express, the Mirror and the BBC festivals web pages as well as the official Download Festival website and LIVE UK. I have reviewed in excess of 70 domestic and international festivals, interviewed acts from new bands to world beaters and written investigative journalism pieces on ticket touting.
