Qualifications

I studied at the University of Central Lancashire between 1998 and 2001, gaining a BA(hons)(2:1) in Graphic Design and Visual Communication. I also studied Graphic Design at Wigan and Leigh College achieving a Distinction between .

GCSE in: Art (A), Maths, English Lang, English Lit, French, Geography, Double Science, Technology (B)

Experience

I have worked for the past 6 years since leaving University as a Graphic Designer, always as an integral part of a design team which has included marketing, product designers, fashion designers, textile designers and design managers.

I have produced work that has had to be taken from original marketing brief, straight through to production. I have then followed the progression along the way to ascertain that quality isn't diminished and that deadlines are met.

I have worked on a wide range of projects including the following: Direct mail and marketing material to maintain corporate awareness. Branding of sports kits for the Commonwealth Games in Manchester. Designing POS for ELLE bedding that was to be used in major department stores. Packaging design for a range of branded media for Manchester United, Warner Bros, Ben Sherman, Liverpool FC and many more. I have also contributed to the design of websites, advising on layout and functionality.
