About me

My name is Dan Heffer, i was born in 1988.

I always knew i was a creative. I started drawing seriously during high school. But after being told you draw like a 5 year old stopped me from studying it further. It wasn't until after i had finished my A level exams that i realised i wanted to be creative. So i didn't go to university that year. I went to college to do a foundation degree in art and design which opened me up to a lot of mediums and inspired me to experiment.

I went on to gain a BTEC Award in Visual Art and to study a full degree in Illustration.

Since graduating i am working full time and balance between work and drawing. But now im pursuing a career that im 100% passionate about and i am making sure that it's creative.

I am inspired by People, Places, Patterns, Colour and Texture. The main focus of my work is to make the dark, beautiful. Fashion and Photography also fall in line with what i love doing.
