About me
I would like to express my interest in the position of Creative Artworker.
I have recently graduated from the Swansea School of Art with First Class Honours in Fine Art.
In addition to the knowledge acquired through my education, I also have demonstrable experience in the curating of gallery exhibitions, as well as delivering educational workshop programmes to school and further education students.
My eye for detail, excellent communication skills and knowledge of marketing tools I feel make me an ideal candidate for the position.
I am a confident, passionate and committed individual with the ability to work independently, or as part of a large team.
Alongside my degree studies, I worked for the university as a Student Ambassador, where my main responsibilities were:
To assist Marketing & Communications in the delivery of Open Days, Campus Visits and UCAS Visit Days.
To assist Widening Participation and Marketing & Communications in the delivery of school & college visits to the University.
To assist the Alumni Relations Team in the delivery of alumni events and other related activities e.g. the sale of University branded merchandise at Graduation.
To visit schools and colleges and actively participate and assist in the delivery of activities and presentations.
To give short presentations to large groups of pupils and assist small groups of pupils with activities.
To develop an awareness of the University's wide range of courses, general issues on student life and internal developments outside your immediate subject area.
To support practical activities with younger students in and outside the University on local and national initiatives.
To assist prospective students in their understanding and interest in higher education by acting as a positive role model.
To motivate and raise the aspirations of students participating in the activities. This work involves becoming aware of the barriers that some pupils face which may prevent them from accessing higher education.

I have a wealth of experience in working with schools, colleges and galleries to provide inspiring, stimulating educational programmes, which have been highly successful.
More recently, I have been selected to promote an upcoming multi-venue exhibition featuring contemporary artists from Cardiff.
Having recently completed a Marketing and PR internship in London, this has given me the opportunity and skills to work alongside artists, galleries and colleagues in the successful promotion of a photography exhibition taking place at a London gallery.
I am proficient in the use of Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, InDesign and photoshop.
I have also been awarded a First Class Honours in Marketing and Self Promotion as part of my third year degree.
I feel that my personal skills and industry experience suitably match your candidate criteria.
