About me

I've just finished a degree in Magazine Journalism at Southampton
Solent University and am looking for my first steps into the
industry.

Throughout the course I have studied a variety of areas, such as;
Advanced Magazine Design, Online Magazine Production, Sub-Editing,
Photography and News and Feature Writing.

I am extremely interested in magazine design and for the last year
have been working as the design editor of Southampton Solent's student
magazine, Sonar.

Not only was I designing a majority of the magazine, but I was also in
charge of a team of Illustrators, Photographers and other Designers, so
have excellent communication skills.

I can confidently work within any editorial or design team and produce
well thought out items for any target audience, as well as offering new
and creative ideas.

I am able to work with PCs or Apple Macs and am expertly trained in
Adobe Indesign, Photoshop and Dreamweaver (CS3/4).

I am creative, dedicated and passionate with any project I get
involved in and am always eager to learn and develop new skills.
