About me
I'm an experienced, imaginative and versatile graphic designer looking to join a full-time creative team.
Annual reports (print and digital), presentations, websites and motion graphics have been my bread and butter; I've even developed and published an independent magazine title from scratch.
Now I'm looking for the right creative environment where my skills and creativity can be amplified as part of a studio team.
7 years of self-motivated freelance graphic design has had me managing relationships with co-workers and clients, pitching projects and selling ideas to a wide range of clients with a wide spectrum of commercial objectives and design requirements.
I even branded and designed The Gannet, a distinctive and elegant digital and print magazine about the culture of food; directing photographers, web developers and designing branding, print layouts and typography.
Additionally, working as an editorial illustrator for discerning and demanding international publications like The New York Times, Bloomberg Businessweek and The Guardian (to name a handful) has made me a fantastic ideas visualiser. I thrive generating ideas under time pressure.
But my wild creativity and meticulous approach to design is most apparent in Amuseum Magazine. As editor, creative director and designer, I led a hand-picked team of artists and writers, inspiring creativity with considered and concise creative briefs. MagCulture and It's Nice That wrote glowing reviews, and Issues 2 and 3 were shortlisted in both the 2015 and 2016 Stack Independent Magazine Awards.
I hope my portfolio and CV will convince you that i'd make a versatile and valuable addition to your creative team.
