About me
My name is Dan Payne, I am a qualified Illustrator and designer looking for work. I am very adaptable and eager to keep learning. I continuously try to better myself and in doing so have picked up a wide range of skills. I like to work digitally and traditionally, but also to mix the two. I believe each project needs a new way of thinking. I work well under instruction and under pressure, as well as working in a team.
I am looking to find a permanent position within a company. Basically fill my days doing what I love. Gaining as much experience as possible and continue to add to my portfolio. But I am also available for one off projects- so please don't hesitate to contact me.

Skills
I have been working as a freelance designer for the past 3 years. I have excellent I.T skills and can confidently use a multitude of programs including 14 years experience with Adobe Photoshop. I am now using CS6. I can also use most design software including Adobe Illustrator. I am capable of creating design work for web projects and have good knowledge on the printing process. I have some admin experience which involved writing letters, organising paperwork and handling phone calls and emails. I am also confident handling money and stock. I am constantly being inspired by artists and enjoy new ways of thinking. I believe each task should be approached in a different way as no two are alike. That keeps things very exciting for me.
