About me

Dear Sir/Madam,

Since an early age I have been interested in the way products have been designed and what has been the inspiration behind them. The attention to detail is fascinating and this has inspired me to become involved within the design process, throughout school, university, and hopefully in the very near future, for a successful career.

After graduating from Bournemouth University, I am now looking to put the theory I have learnt into industrial practice and gain the vital experience required to become successful within the competitive industry.

I believe that the skills I possess will enable me to succeed in the field of design. I am a competent user of design software including AutoCAD, Solidworks 2010, Adobe Dreamweaver and Adobe Photoshop CS4. I use these programmes to convey my design ideas and showcase my work to a high presentation standard.

I have experience of working on my own and as part of a team and have previously worked for Pall Europe as a Research and Development Engineer, where I enjoyed ten months completing my university placement with great success by seeing products being placed on the competitive market. I acquired new skills throughout the placement; learning new CAD software in a short time, allowing me to optimise my capabilities, thus showing I am a quick learner and able to adapt to my surroundings, however uncomfortable they are.
