About me

I am a keen and imaginative writer capable of producing both entirely distinctive and refreshing copy and more sober text appropriate for formal documents - from the humorous, 'signature' marketing emails that Eaglecrown is renowned for to a speech for the Managing Director of Harrods, welcoming the Director of the Hermitage, I have had a great deal of experience in creating suitable copy for numerous projects and purposes. My Masters in translation and linguistics was essentially an exercise in creating and editing copy that reflected the tone and sense of a huge variety of source texts, be it Polish insurance law documentation, a Russian instruction manual for a nuclear power plant or one of Chekhov's more celebrated plays.

I speak Russian, French, Spanish and Serbo-Croat to varying levels of proficiency and am qualified to professionally translate Russian and Polish. Since working in my current job I have had a great deal of experience of creating marketing concepts and writing suitable copy. The scope of copy that I have written is evident in the huge variety of partners marketed - from retro propaganda posters for fashion t-shirts to textile and furniture designs from Russian imperial palaces. I am now looking to move to a more prominent and dynamic company where I will be able to work more exclusively in copywriting and creative design, developing and designing concepts with likeminded people.
