About me
My name's Dan Durack. I'm 37 and have been in a variety of pre-press, publishing and DTP roles during the past 17 years or so. I've worked for a large newspaper, in commercial print environments, for a publishing company and two translations companies; meeting with clients, designing shop signage, in-house materials and typesetting multilingual projects from books, financial/annual reports to business cards and just about everything in between.
I'm a fast artworker but am also accurate and imaginative; I pride myself on attention to detail and outputting quality work, with strong proofreading skills in terms of both copy and graphics.
I am proficient in all DTP software from Adobe CS, Quark XPress, MS Office through to Framemaker and Visio and consider myself to be a good communicator; courteous and friendly with effective time-management skills.
