ABOUT
A newspaper broadsheet inspired by George Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-Four, exploring the key themes in the novel through the context of present day issues.
Issue one kicks off with the theme of 'Privacy' and dives deep in to the recent scandals surrounding online data privacy and data rights.
In 2016, the National Security Agency published the list of 380 keywords it uses to monitor social media sites. 'Seen' is a typeface that is concerned with privacy and the interception of our communications by the NSA. It automatically strikes through "spook words" as they are written.
