About me

I've managed to endure the trials and tribulations of the advertising industry for the last 20 years. I'm not sure if this is down to sheer passion and resilience, or just plain insanity. Along the way, I've learned a thing or two about engaging with local markets while building international brands. I like to create relationships with consumers via TV, print, outdoor, radio, digital, retail, direct mail, activations and promotions, or all of the above rolled into one.

I've been fortunate enough to apply dollops of elbow grease to great brands at several top London and Cape Town agencies. Some of the best minds in the business have helped me form a strong conceptual mind of my own, comfortable working alone or in a team to conceive effective integrated campaigns.

I believe that an insightful strategy, coupled with a tight brief, is key to bringing about fresh and impactful creative work. So too is a good night's rest and a bowl of oats in the morning.
