About me

I am writing with the request to be employed by your company.

I completed my BA (Hons) degree in Graphic Design at The University Of Leeds in 2003. I am currently working for a well-established publishing company in Cambridgeshire (Manning Publishing). I am re locating back to Leicestershire where I grew up this month.

My skills in graphic design have exceeded enormously since I graduated, and only encourages me to move forwards. In my spare time I have been developing my creative skills by developing new projects and freelance work for various different clients, producing mainly print base projects and Corporate identities. I am very passionate towards the Arts and Visual Communications, it is this passion that makes me determined to succeed within my field of work. I accept that my experience within the commercial industry is limited, but through the knowledge and skills I have gained it keeps me highly motivated and only inspires me to learn more. In the next 5-7 year I can see myself being chattered in graphic design. I would maximise any opportunity offered to me. My abilities lie at a decent standard on the Apple Mac with the knowledge of the following applications: Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign and QuarkXpress. I would describe myself as a unique, confident, committed communicator thus making me enthusiastic in all I do, I am very passionate towards Arts and Visual Communications this makes me determined to succeed within my field of work, I have my own car.
