Dear sir or Madam,

I would like to apply for the Junior Creative Developer position, which you are currently advertising. I feel I am a very suitable candidate for this role, as upon looking through the job specification I can cover 95% of the required experience.

I have recently graduated with an MSc in Human Centred Systems, which I studied at City University in London. To integrate into this role, would be a comfortable process for me.

Alongside my skills and experiences listed below, I am very passionate about being continually involved within an Interaction Design related position. I have additional relevant experience in requirements engineering procedures, such as writing and analysing structured requirements, essential in developing modelled solutions, relevant to UI interaction and GUI design. I also have experience in testing and proofing these developed requirements and have created online software applications, entwining conceptual design through to a prototype stage. More recently, I have gained experience in both Ruby on Rails programming and Digital Marketing procedures.

My skills and experiences cover the following areas;

o UX research and methodologies, UI interaction design, software development lifecycles, Information Architecture, site map creation, user journey analysis and storyboard design (sketched).

o Wireframe design and iteration.

o Researching and developing; user journeys, user stories, use cases, personas, storyboarding and low-fidelity to full working prototypes.

o Utilising design and development tools, such as Axure, Visio, Adobe Flash, Adobe Edge, Photoshop, Illustrator, Morae Suite, Camtasia, WordPress and Tumblr.

o Generating qualitative and quantitative reports.

o User testing facilitation; on websites, applications and prototypes.

o Ruby on Rails programming language (junior), Bootstrap, Github version control.

o Designing Rich Internet Applications, Front-End Web Design (HTML 5, CSS), User Centred Design, Online blog environment creation and development, Back-End Web Development.

o Writing system requirements for socio-technical systems

o Digital Marketing procedures

o Presentation of findings through conversion rate metrics.

I am a graduate Interaction Designer, and have experience with UCD best practices, Information Architecture, Software Development lifecycles and Cognitive Technology research and development. With an excellent attention to detail I also pride myself on being a creative thinker, and someone who has the ability to solve problems from a variety of different angles.
