About me

I am a multimedia journalist who received his degree from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University in May, 2015.

A Seattle native, I joined the United States Marine Corps at the age of 18, spending five years on active duty as a member of the USMC's Military Police, including deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan.

I currently work as the marketing director and designer for a Phoenix based real estate group. During my time as a journalist/designer, I have produced dozens of articles and photographs for website, newspaper and magazine, as well as designs and user experience for two iOS applications. My work has also been seen on several other outlets, including NFL, NBCNews, Myspace and Phoenix New Times.

As a multimedia journalist, my skills allow me to create and edit written and photography-based pieces. My experience also includes video editing, marketing and some animation.
